2010 Program
Greetings,
We are in the final stages of preparing the 2010 USAFP Meeting program. I'm happy to report that there will be great CME opportunities this year.
The program will have plenty of traditional "hard core" Family Medicine lectures and break out sessions to help you stay current on the latest information and evidence. Additionally we will offer many different breakout sessions to help you hone your procedural skills. Some of the highlights will include: joint injections, osteopathic manipulation, hospitalist skills, acupuncture, implanted contraceptives, colposcopy, and colonoscopy.
Over the next few months, on this blog, I will highlight some of the meeting's events. The first item on the agenda is the 5K Fun Run. This event is always well attended and this year will surely be no exception. We were lucky enough to secure the New Orleans Audubon Zoo and Park for our Fun Run. The run will start off through the zoo before it opens to the public and finish in the adjacent Audubon Park. Here's your opportunity to take a morning run or walk with the "wild things". Be sure to sign up for this event on your registration as it is sure to be a fun event.
